Wimbledon is home to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club who organise the world famous Wimbledon tennis tournament held every year in the last week of June and first week of July.  The tennis complex in Church Road is also home to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.  On view are collections of tennis outfits, rackets, balls and other tennis memorabilia.   Wimbledon championship trophies are also on display. The famous Centre Court can be viewed. 

Twickenham Rugby Stadium
Twickenham is often referred to as the home of English rugby and plays host to numerous rugby union fixtures throughout the year. The English rugby union team play all their home games at the stadium. Twickenham hosts England's Six Nations matches, as well as inbound touring teams from the Southern Hemisphere, usually every year around November.

There are several golf clubs within a short distance of the house. The closest are Ashford Manor GC, Laleham GC, Sunbury GC, Hazelwood GC and the Abbey Moor GC.

Ascot Racecourse
Ascot was founded in 1711 by Queen Anne and is arguably the most famous racecourse in the world. Today Ascot stages 24 days of top class racing each year. Top class Flat racing takes place at Ascot from April to October and National Hunt racing from November to April. For an exciting day or evening out, visit to Ascot with family, friends or colleagues and enjoy a unique social and sporting occasion.

Sandown Park Racecourse
Sandown Park is a unique racing experience; a stunning location, the course’s famous hill finishes combine to create an environment full of excitement and nail biting close finishes. You can soak up an electric atmosphere 26 times a year with Jump and Flat racing seasons. The pinnacle of the calendar is the Gold Cup Meeting in April.

Kempton Park Racecourse
Famous for the King George VI chase on Boxing Day each year this racecourse hosts some of the best horse racing in the country and there is a diverse range of events throughout the year.

Hampton Court
With over 500 years of royal history, Hampton Court Palace has something to offer all visitors, from the magnificent State Apartments to the domestic reality of the Tudor Kitchens. Costumed guides and audio tours bring the palace to life and provide an insight into how life in the palace would have been in the time of Henry VIII and William III. The Palace also has a programme of special events throughout the year.

Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is an official residence of The Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today.

Legoland Windsor
For an exciting day out, head for Legoland Windsor and enjoy over 50 interactive rides, live shows and attractions that’ll keep the whole family entertained. Set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, Legoland is more fun than you can imagine for children aged 3-12 and their families.

Thorpe Park
For adrenalin junkies, Thorpe Park is the must do destination for the ultimate extreme ride experience. Europe’s fastest rollercoaster, the ‘Stealth’, got faster in 2007 when they tweaked the Nitrogen Booster system for a super acceleration of 0 to 80mph in under two seconds!
